The Bridge, formerly know as Bethesda Church, began as a bible study in the home of Tom and Gartha Swearingen. It soon grew and was in need of a building to hold services in. In 1997, Pastor Gartha led the opening of the church in its present location. Since then, other pastors have led the people of The Bridge.
In September of 2010, Pastors Ben and Leslie Collier came to serve and lead at The Bridge. As the church grew, at the start of 2014, Student Pastors Dusty & Albi Caseman were brought on staff to build on to the youth and children’s programs of The Bridge. The last few years, the church has seen the fruits of discipleship and evangelism. Currently, The Bridge meets on Sunday mornings at 109 Winterwood Lane in Vanceburg, Kentucky.
